Nats catcher Wil Nieves appeared at the ESPNZone downtown today in a Q&A with fans, moderated by radio play-by-play Charlie Slowes.Nieves took fan questions regarding his preparation, his day-to-day routine, influences growing up, and attitude of the team.
Nieves is one of the more personable players on the team, and stressed at different times during the Q&A how much the team, and he personally, appreciates the fans of the Washington Nationals and thinks the team is very close to being able to compete in the NL East.
