Early April can be a little chilly for baseball in DC. Would you like to be at the ballpark and see a live game while staying warm? Add in 18 of your friends with food, drinks and parking?  Don't pass up on a chance to win a luxury suite at Nats Park for the Red Sox v. Nats exhibition game on April 3, 2010 and help out a good cause at the same time.

Baseball fan Rosie O’Donnell and Rosie’s Broadway Kids Charity with their efforts to provide art programs to New York City public school children is having a spring training raffle to raise money.

Rosie’s Broadway Kids was inspired by Rosie O’Donnell’s life-long concern for children, love of theater, and dream of teaching. In 2003, thanks to the generosity of Rosie and Kelli O’Donnell, Artistic and Executive Director Lori Klinger created RBKids, dedicated to providing quality instruction in music and dance at no cost to New York City public schools or students.

Eighty percent of students who participate in Rosie’s Broadway Kids are from low-income families. Rosie’s Broadway Kids serves more than 5,100 teachers, students, and their family members at 22 schools.

The raffle includes the following prizes:

  • Winner will win a 19 seat Luxury Suite at National Stadium to watch the Washington Nationals take on the Boston Red Sox in their April 3, 2010 Spring Training Game. This package will include In-Suite food and beverages plus parking passes.
  • Cash payment of $1,300.75 to mitigate the Winner’s tax liability from winning the prize (paid directly to the IRS and Commonwealth of Massachusetts)
The tickets for the raffle are only $2 each (min 5) and the proceeds benefit a great cause. For more information or to purchase tickets click here.

Entry Deadline is March 19, 2010 at 11am EST.
