**My apologies for the delayed post. It was scheduled to post early last week and I just realized it didn't post. Thought fans would still like to see the photos.**

Washington Nationals hosted the Florida Marlins on Mother's Day, May 9, 2010 and recorded another Curly W in the books with a 3-2 win over the fish.

Adam Dunn had a good Mother's Day going 3-for-4 and Josh Willingham made his mom's wish come true. She asked if Josh could hit homerun on Mother's Day since he had homered twice on the previous Mother's Day.

Nats Third-Base Coach, Pat Listach, shared his wife Cari's story about battling breast cancer and he'll be running in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure on June 5.

Nationals Park had lovely graphics to celebrate the day.  Here are a few photos of the graphics and other pink items as MLB 6th Annual "Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer."

Joan Coolidge was NatsTown Mom of the Game
(Her daughter wrote a beautiful letter and won the mom of the game contest. The letter was read to the fans before the game)

Several players recorded video messages to their moms, wives and all mothers out there. These were shown between innings.
It was a nice touch.
