Potomac Nationals OF Mike Burgess has been selected a 2010 Carolina League All-Star. Burgess is making his second consecutive appearance in the mid-summer showcase that puts the best of the Carolina League against the best from the California League.
Burgess currently ranks second in the Carolina League with 44 RBI. He led the league with 30 RBI during the month of May. He’s also hit five home runs.
The All-Star games returns to BB&T Coastal Field in Myrtle Beach, after it was there the last time the Carolina League hosted in 2008, on Tuesday June 22, 2010.
