“A Night At The Park” to benefit the ziMS Foundation

Monday, August 9th, Ryan Zimmerman will be hosting the first ever “A Night At The Park” to benefit the ziMS Foundation.

In Ryan Zimmerman's Own Words:

It will be a once-in-a-lifetime evening at Nationals Park, featuring performances by Amos Lee, Mutlu, and magician David Blaine. The park will be transformed into an intimate concert hall, and tickets will be limited to the first 1,000 people. A special stage will be built on the outside concourse of the Presidents' Club with attendees sitting in the Diamond Club seats. The guest list will include celebrities from the sports, entertainment, and political societies in and around DC. We’ll also have silent and live auctions with incredible pieces from signed items from today’s biggest sports stars to experience packages that will be unbelievable. Stay tuned for updates on these as we get closer.

This is the ziMS Foundation inaugural event in Washington, and the response and feedback has been amazing thus far. My mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1995, and I started the ziMS Foundation shortly after my first big league season. The foundation (www.zimsfoundation.org) is dedicated to the treatment and ultimate cure of Multiple Sclerosis. Your support for “A Night At The Park” will help raise funds for a cure and awareness of MS, and there are exciting plans to grow this event each year.
