Special Event: Domestic Violence Awareness Day
The club will welcome Becky’s Fund, a public charity dedicated to domestic violence awareness and prevention, for the second annual Domestic Violence Awareness Day when they host the Mets on Saturday. DC Council Chairman Vincent C. Gray will present a Domestic Violence Resolution and the club will raise awareness throughout the day by airing a PSA and distributing materials at the team’s Community Desk. Fans may visit the Community Desk, located behind Section 107, for information on Becky’s Fund and to make donations. The Nationals invite their fans to strike out domestic violence with Becky’s Fund.


Pregame Ceremonies include:
• Ceremonial first pitch by Tonya Vidal Kinlow, Guest of MASN and Carefirst
• Presentation of the colors by U.S. Coast Guard Honor Guard
• Line-up card delivery from Lauren Barnette, Former Miss VA USA 2007 and Deal or No Deal model
• National Anthem performance by Romford Drum and Trumpet Corps
• “Starting 9” will feature Girl Scouts
