PLAY CATCH ON THE FIELD!

The Hagerstown Suns want to give you a chance to play catch on a professional field plus watch the Suns take batting practice before they play.

Fans are invited to play catch on the field at Municipal Stadium on Sunday, August 22. The gates will open at Municipal Stadium at 12:30 PM and fans will be able to play catch on the field from 12:45 to 1:30.

Fans will need to bring their own gloves and baseball, and all participants will be instructed to lineup in the outfield for the throwing session.

"Kids dream of getting a chance to play professional baseball," said Suns President and General Manager Bob Flannery. "What could be better than having a chance to play catch on a professional field?"


WATCH BATTING PRACTICE!The Hagerstown Suns are pleased to announce the gates at Municipal Stadium will open early to allow fans the opportunity to watch the teams take batting practice on select dates during the remainder of the 2010 season.

Gates will also open at 4:00 PM on August 23 and 24 with the Suns playing host to the Lakewood BlueClaws.

The gates at Municipal Stadium will also open at 4:00 for the final home game of the 2010 season: August 28 against the Delmarva Shorebirds.
