As part of the Memorial Day festivities, fans of all ages are invited to “Run the Bases for Military Families.” For the low-price of $20, fans can take advantage of a special holiday ticket deal that includes a Left Field Corner seat, a $10 donation to Hike for Heroes benefitting military families and entry to run the bases after the game. Tickets may be purchased at the Main Box Office. Fans who have already purchased tickets to the Memorial Day game against the Phillies may buy wristbands to run the bases for a $10 donation to Hike for Heroes. Wristbands can be purchased at the Community Relations kiosk behind Section 109 the day of the game.
Memorial Day: During the second game of the Patriotic Series, in addition to wearing their Patriotic uniforms featuring the stars and stripes Curly “W,” the Nationals will also wear a special Stars and Stripes cap as part of MLB’s support for Welcome Back Veterans, a program that addresses the needs of returning veterans and their families. The caps will be available for purchase on MLB.com, with net proceeds benefitting Welcome Back Veterans.
