Tonight’s Nationals-Dodgers game scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., has been postponed. Due to the amount of rain that has already accumulated on the field, and the expectation of additional rain tonight, the field conditions are not playable or safe for tonight’s game.

The team will play a traditional, single-admission doubleheader tomorrow, Thursday, September 8, beginning at 1:05 p.m. The second game will follow approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the first game.

All tickets for tonight’s game must be exchanged at the Nationals Park Box Office for seats of equal or lesser value for tomorrow’s doubleheader or any remaining home game during the 2011 regular season*. Tickets for tomorrow’s 1:05 p.m. game will be valid for both games of the doubleheader.

The Nationals Park Box Office will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. and Center Field Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. For more information on exchanging tickets purchased through nationals.com or the Nationals telephone charge line, please call 888.632.NATS(6287).

On game days, the Nationals Park Box Office regularly opens Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until 30 minutes after the end of the game, and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 30 minutes after the end of the game. Box office hours on non-game days are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
