The Washington Nationals will host their Third Annual National Anthem Auditions and Inaugural Organ Auditions at Nationals Park on Saturday, March 13.
Over the age limit for American Idol or didn't want to stand in line for days, but think that you can sing? Talented singers interested in performing the National Anthem at a Nats home game should email a headshot and performance resume to anthem@nationals.com. Only the first 75 to register will have be asked to come to Nats Park on March 13 at 10:00 AM to sing their rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner in under 90 seconds.
Musicians interested in playing an organ at a Nats home game should submit a recording of their keyboard or organ music via MP3 to production@nationals.com. Applicants may also mail a disc to Nationals Park to the attention of the Production Department. The ten finalists will be invited to participate in the inaugural organ auditions on March 13 at 1:00 PM by playing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" on the Nationals Kurzweil 2600 keyboard.
