The Washington Nationals hosted the 2011 NatsFest on Wednesday, March 30 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. rain or shine. Unfortunately, it did rain, however, the wet weather didn't keep fans away.

Mother Nature interfered with batting practice leaving most fans without much to do until the meet and greet at 6:15 p.m. All of the players on the 25-man roster, a few prospects (Bryce Harper, Derek Norris and Cole Kimball), all of the coaches, Field Manager, General Manager and select front office staff (Davey Johnson and Bob Boone) participated in the Meet and Greet. The event was moved from the field to the concourse.
Fans lined up in the rain for as long as an hour and a half prior to the meet and greet for the opportunity to shake hands with the 2011 Nationals.
