Livo reached this career milestone during the Washington Nationals game on Saturday, May 14, 2011 against the Florida Marlins.

RHP Livan Hernandez made his MLB debut on September 24, 1996 and has started 454 games. 177 of those starts have been for the Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals over seven seasons of his sixteen seasons.

According to MASN, Hernandez is just the 108th MLB pitcher to reach the 3,000 milestone, however, is listed as 132nd by Baseball Reference.
Livo is now at 3003.2 innings pitched which is second on the list of active pitchers behind Tim Wakefield at 3095.0.
