Nats' Upcoming Milestones

Posted by Cheryl Nichols | 6/16/2010 02:09:00 PM | , , , , , , , , | 0 comments »

I love baseball milestones and there have been quite a few already this season across the league.

Ryan Zimmerman hit his 400th career RBI yesterday, June 15, in Detroit.  Adam Kennedy reached both his 500th career RBI and 600th Run scored on May 26, 2010 in San Francisco.

I decided to look up a few possible milestones for this season for fans to keep watch.  I'm sure that there are many others, but here are a handful.

Nats Upcoming Milestones:
-Josh Willingham - 1 shy of 100 Home runs (Updated: Josh hit 100th on 6/22/2010)
-Willie Harris - 2 shy of 100 Stolen Bases; 9 shy of 500 Hits; 27 shy of 200 RBIs
-Ryan Zimmerman - 10 shy of 400 Runs
-Ian Desmond - 21 shy of 100 Hits
-Nyjer Morgan - 16 shy of 300 Hits
-Mapp Capps - 13 shy of 100 Saves
